The HSP Tailgate Assist is available in a single or twin strut option. Twin struts are for vehicles without a torsion bar and provide both soft drop dampening and weight-reduced easy lift action. Single struts are designed for vehicles with a torsion bar, offering only soft drop dampening to complement the already reduced weight of the tailgate.

However, variations in manufacturing tolerances among different ute models may result in minor fitment discrepancies. In some cases, these variations may lead to surface contact between the tailgate and the tailgate assist, or between the tub and the tailgate, potentially causing cosmetic wear over time.
Additionally, factors such as road vibrations and vehicle usage may contribute to wear and tear. As these factors are beyond our control, we cannot be held liable for any resulting damage. It is the responsibility of the end user to assess compatibility before installation and to monitor and maintain both the tailgate assist and the vehicle to prevent excessive wear.
